Establishment subscription terms — data processing

Roles

The subscribing establishment is the controller of its guests’ data; HjezOS acts as processor, on its instructions and solely to provide the service.

The establishment remains responsible for declaring its processing to the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data, and for the legal obligations of accommodation establishments.

Confidentiality and security

HjezOS keeps the data confidential and applies appropriate security measures: encrypted connections and identity numbers, private document storage, role-based access and logging of access to sensitive data.

The establishment’s guest data is never used or sold for any other purpose.

Disclosure to authorities

Guest data may be disclosed to the competent authorities upon a lawful request, in accordance with applicable legislation.

End of subscription

When the subscription ends, the establishment receives a copy of its data on request; the data is then deleted from the system, subject to legal retention periods.
